I had heard a lot about big tree cafe being famous for its occasion specific custom decoration setup. Recently I decided to go for the branch near golf course road and I was expecting a good decoration setup as they boast on their Instagram and social media. But as someone who went through their long arduous booking process and then still finding that they misled you, I wouldn’t recommend this cafe to celebrate any occasion. First of all you can only make the booking through WhatsApp text. There is no POC with whom you can talk over call because at these occasions it is always recommended that there be a POC who can understand your request and clear your queries promptly and without hassle. The person who is receiving your chats seems to be quite casual with very ambiguous communication and ignorant of your queries and you have to ask the same thing multiple times just to make sure that your request is clear to them. I asked the POC person on chat thrice that will liquor will be available at the venue that I am booking. It was met with a yes reply that I can order from the menu there. After going there I found out that they don’t serve liquor at that branch due to some license issues and our plan included having few drinks, beforehand only. I had already left 3 venues because they didn’t serve alcohol and my group was expecting that including me, for that occasion. But upon reaching they just said that they don’t serve here at this branch. It is not a big deal per se but after a long tiring booking process I expected very less disappointment and having paid a good amount just for a small cabana decoration of rose and balloons. But what is more bothersome is that how their prices are very high as compared to the experience they provide and and the way they ignore customer queries and misleading them. All in all, although Google reviews seem great, I also went after going through their Google reviews and Instagram page, food was above average to good vis a vis price but I don’t think this chain of cafe can be considered reliable. Disappointing Experience at Big Tree Cafe I recently (21.09.2024) visited Big Tree Cafe to celebrate my birthday, after my brother received a mobile invitation for Saturday's Sufi Night, as a regular patron, we had booked a table in advance, and at the time of booking we had inquired about preferred seating options during the booking process. (At the time of booking they have asked "any special occasion"-it was mentioned its a birthday, but no any special arrangements, then what's the meaning of asking purpose of occasion)

When we reached there @8:30PM, my table allocation was underwhelming. Then we talked with staff (Mr. Urmesh) he stated outside tables were reserved for premium clients, seats already assigned , shifting is not possible. (Than what is the meaning of my prior booking) they have forced me to seat ,what they have assigned me. What kind of service of this???

After escalating to the manager, we were reassigned a table near the singer. However, our table received inadequate attention, leading to significant delays in ordering and service.

Specific issues included: Half-hour wait for water, with only two glasses provided for three people. Delayed delivery of mineral water bottle.(After Intervening with the manager resolved the mineral water bottle delay) Incorrect food order (veg instead of non-veg). Slow service, with long waits between orders.

At thr time of final billing mr. Urmesh explanationed that "madam your table area didn't receive staff assistance, just because this area is not for staff service" which was truly unclear. What kind of this service janha khud udhar kar water ko bula kar bolne par bhi kaam nahi ho. We billed Rs.3600+ where service charge was of Rs.300+ included but I don't think so they have given me a good service.

Despite enjoying the music and food quality, the poor management and service overshadowed our experience.

This subpar experience leaves me hesitant to revisit or recommend...
